The Gonneau Team are your local, professional Pillar To Post home inspectors, proudly serving Etobicoke, York, North York, East York, Scarborough, Forest Hill, The Beach, Mimico, and New Toronto — and now offering the same trusted service to Whitby, Hamilton, and Barrie through a team of skilled, knowledgeable inspectors and support staff.
After inspecting thousands of homes for insurance companies and government agencies, the Gonneau Team brought that expertise home. They treat every home as if it were their own, and take pride in introducing each one to its new owner.
The Gonneau Team knows that buying a home is one of life's biggest milestones, and they want to be part of that journey. From the very first contact, they take the time to understand each homeowner's expectations and concerns. Then they thoroughly review and inspect the property, delivering an honest, professional assessment — communicated clearly, so there are no surprises.

Geoffrey Gonneau
A fifth-generation contractor with hands-on experience across a wide range of property and disaster restoration projects, Geoff has successfully remediated homes affected by grow-op and meth lab contamination, trauma events, and toxic site exposure. Over the course of his career, he has built, renovated, and restored numerous homes throughout the Greater Toronto Area. With over 40 years of personal experience in residential and commercial building inspection across North America, Geoff brings best-in-class expertise to homeowners, home sellers, home buyers, and real estate professionals alike.
Geoff has inspected thousands of homes on behalf of the property insurance industry, including deployments to wildfire losses in Slave Lake and Fort McMurray, and flood events in Toronto, Windsor, and Eastern Canada, among other major disasters. These experiences have given him a comprehensive understanding of home inspection and a unique perspective on the personal side of home ownership — underscoring, above all, the importance of compassion during traumatic and life-changing events.

Anne Hart
Team Administrator
With ten years of experience supporting property and project managers, Anne keeps the Gonneau Team running smoothly from behind the scenes — coordinating with the booking centre and social media support staff, scheduling team training, and organizing day-to-day company actions. Outside of work, she's an avid hiker who values sustainability and work-life balance, and brings that same collaborative, people-first energy to the team every day.

Jar Jar Binx
Chief Morale Officer & Noble Guard Dog
Jar Jar supports the Gonneau Team the best way he knows how: patrolling the perimeter for pests (mostly squirrels), rigorously testing bed integrity by messing up every blanket he can find, and offering free hugs and cuddles to anyone having a stressful moving day. A devoted Star Trek fan, he tries to channel Mr. Spock's cool logic — usually by staring at the wall before giving up for zoomies, much to his teams dismay. Methods aside, he's a very good boy, and a much-needed reminder that even on a busy inspection day, there's always time for a belly rub

Coco Mondo
Director of Attic & Crawlspace Affairs
Coco Mondo is a bearded dragon whose night vision is, frankly, beyond human capability — while the rest of the team fumbles around a crawlspace with a flashlight, Coco is already three joists ahead, silently judging the insulation. His inspection technique involves a lot of intense staring, the occasional slow blink of disapproval, and zero verbal reports, though that still puts him on par with some of the smoke detectors he's inspected. He isn't licensed, insured, or in any way a real home inspector, but he brings an unmatched combination of night vision, patience, and quiet reptilian judgment to every job site — and honestly, nothing says "thorough inspection" like a tiny dragon staring into the dark corners of your attic like he knows something you don't.
